Kids' Mundo Spanish Preschool offers a play-based Spanish curriculum for children 3 to 5 years old. We are located in the North Rose Hill area in Kirkland, WA.
ABOUT US:
Hola! I am Maria Augusta Armijos. I was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador.
I want to share with you a little bit about me. During in life in Ecuador, my mother established a daycare evolving into a preschool and turning into an Elementary school! I saw my mother as my mentor, professional role model, and inspiration to become a teacher for children!
After graduation high school, I decided to come to the United States to follow my dream! My experience working with children in this country began there and I decided to pursue my career in Early Childhood Education. In 2009, I graduated with a B.A. in Children’s Studies from Easter Washington University.

At Kids' Mundo Spanish Preschool, we believe that children learn best through play!

Our curriculum has an emphasis in the Spanish language which provides opportunities to acquire unique language skills.

Our main goal as teachers is to support children’s learning with age-appropriate activities and hands-on materials. Then children use their imagination, creativity, discoveries, and curiosity to make meaningful learning connections.

Children learn best another language when they are exposed at an early age and our classes are designed to teach Spanish with an engaging and an enjoyable approach!

Children are very competent and capable and, we support each child unique learning process with guidance and positive reinforcement.

We assist children to navigate their social/emotional skills as well as support their everyday life skills.

We welcome children to our program regardless of their Spanish level.
